MEET THE ARTISAN
JOHN ERNST
FOUNDER
John’s vision for Venetian Artworks goes far beyond beautiful walls. Inspired by the natural origins of Venetian plaster, his mission is to bring elements of the outdoors inside and create spaces that change the way you feel when you enter them.
A wall can set a mood, spark a conversation and become part of a home’s story for generations. It’s why he approaches his work as art, creating environments meant to be experienced, not simply looked at.

Why venetian plaster?
Traditional lime based Venetian plaster offers a natural defense against mold and mildew. Because lime is highly alkaline, it creates a surface environment where mold has difficulty establishing itself. Unlike many non breathable wall finishes, lime plaster also allows water vapor to pass through the surface, helping walls regulate moisture rather than trapping it beneath a coating. The result is a beautiful, breathable finish that combines centuries old craftsmanship with practical benefits for the modern home.

HAVE A VISION?
Let's see where it can go.
Every extraordinary space starts with someone willing to imagine it differently.
